Engineering-Grade Aerial Data
When accuracy matters, you need more than pretty drone photos. You need precise geospatial data that integrates with your workflows and meets your accuracy requirements.
We provide high-precision aerial mapping and LiDAR services for surveying firms, civil engineers, and organizations that need data they can trust. From topographic surveys to volumetric analysis, we deliver the accuracy your projects demand.
Mapping & LiDAR Services
Orthomosaic Mapping
High-resolution, georeferenced 2D maps stitched from hundreds of overlapping images. Centimeter-level accuracy with ground control points. Perfect for base maps, site documentation, and change detection.
LiDAR Point Clouds
Dense 3D point clouds with sub-centimeter accuracy. Penetrates vegetation, captures fine detail, and delivers the precision needed for engineering applications. Classified and ready for your software.
Topographic Surveys
Detailed elevation data and contour maps for site planning, drainage analysis, and engineering design. Faster and more cost-effective than traditional survey methods for large areas.
Digital Terrain Models
Bare-earth surface models with vegetation and structures removed. Essential for grading design, flood modeling, and earthwork calculations.
3D Surface Models
Detailed 3D models capturing existing conditions. Useful for design visualization, clash detection, and as-built documentation.
Volumetric Analysis
Precise stockpile measurements, cut/fill calculations, and material tracking. Survey-grade accuracy for earthwork management and inventory control.

Mapping & LiDAR FAQs
What's the difference between photogrammetry and LiDAR?
Photogrammetry creates 3D models and maps from overlapping photographs — great for visual documentation and most mapping needs. LiDAR uses laser pulses to measure distances with millimeter precision — essential when you need survey-grade accuracy or need to see through vegetation. We offer both and can recommend which fits your project.
What accuracy can you achieve?
With ground control points, our photogrammetry achieves 1-3cm horizontal accuracy. Our LiDAR systems deliver sub-centimeter accuracy when required. We'll specify expected accuracy for your project conditions upfront.
What file formats do you deliver?
For mapping: GeoTIFF, ECW, MrSID for orthomosaics; DXF/DWG for CAD integration; OBJ/FBX for 3D models. For LiDAR: LAS/LAZ point clouds, classified and ready for your software. We can deliver in virtually any standard format your team uses.
Can you work with our surveying team?
Absolutely. We regularly coordinate with professional surveyors, providing aerial data that complements ground survey work. We can use your control points or establish our own. Our deliverables are formatted for easy integration with survey-grade workflows.
How do you handle dense urban environments?
Bay Area urban sites present unique challenges — tall buildings, traffic, restricted airspace. We're experienced with urban flight operations, proper airspace authorizations, and flight planning that accounts for vertical obstructions. Our LiDAR systems also perform well in urban canyons where GPS can be challenging.
